End of Year
Graduation:
6/6 --> Looked over graduation program.
Barbara will check with Ruth on directing students, ordering Cake & Flowers.
Ruth has done certificates.
We will give out gift bags between ceremony and picnic.
Shelby will write letter for Graduation dress code.


Rehearsals:
  • 6/3 --> 8:15-9:30 unless we get approved to come to World Market and they want us at another time
  • 6/7 --> 8:15-9:45 (during k-2 Field Day).
    • Send some students down first thing tomorrow morning to help Ronnie set up.
    • Have students get recorders before rehearsal.
    • Teachers bring scratch paper to practice as student certificates.
  • 6/8 --> possible rehearsal if needed.

Set Up on Wednesday PM, put names on seats
  • risers go on stage, chairs for presenters ready for after the music, 5 on each side
  • 4th Grade in first 2 rows, taped off
  • seats will be off to the left of the stage for the students and to the right of the stage for the guests
Order of events:
  • Graduates Enter: students enter to graduation music, go to the back via side isle and come down center isle and file into seats, remaining standing until all are in place
  • Welcoming Remarks- Ms. Crummie
  • Pledge- possibly 4th grade cub scouts
  • Music- students file up and take music places. After music (15 minutes) select students move chairs for guests in place. Students go out in hall and re-line up. Guest presenters go up on stage and take a seat. Graduates re-enter, don't circle around this time.
  • Special Awards
  • Graduates receive diplomas: Teacher addresses the class with a few comments, class rises, files up, Gwedette awards medal, on right, student goes to center, receives certificate from teacher, shakes hands with other teachers further left, get flower from 4th grader, exits off stage left.
